Success in Sierra Leone
In Sept 2010 Mary Therese Alie had been made Headteacher at a newly established primary school. Her earlier attempts at getting Study Tech going in Sierra Leone via the Ministry had failed, but now she was keen to get it going again with this new opportunity. From 2007-2009 she went to University to get a degree in Peace and Development Studies. It was after this she was offered the position at the new school. It is a Church sponsored school.

We supplied Mary Therese with a package of basic Study Technology books such as Learning How To Learn, Grammar and Communication and How To Use a Dictionary.
Her school has pupils from 5 to 8 years old.
Drug Education Lectures at La Retraite School in Brixton on 12th July 2011
This was organised by Police Constable Laura Nicholson, La Retraite Safer Schools Officer , Evelyn Grace Safer Schools Officer and Charles Edward Brooke Safer Schools Officer.
We delivered 6 Drug Awareness lectures lasting 50 minutes to 25 girls in each group age 14 to 15 (approx. 160 girls including teachers) at a Roman Catholic school in Lambeth London as part of their Citizenship Days/Crime Awareness.

A total of 1350 Drug Booklets were handed out.
